NEW MUSIC NOVEMBER

Here is your next dose of standout tunes I have received recently and added to my playlists.

The Racket - Take Me Home

'Take Me Home' is a rousing new single by Indie Rockers 'The Racket' - whose name seems apt given the sheer velocity of their music! This latest track is a really anthemic, singalong, fist pumping track, that really feels like you're putting two fingers up at anything and everything you don't agree with! You can hear nods to Indie Rock Gods like The Libertines, Kasabian and even The Fratellis with this really fun track. There are riffs all over this song that compliment the raucous energy of the drums, that help to propel this song along. Brilliant track from start to finish, that will definitely have you singing along to!

MY BABY - a dream i dream

MY BABY describe their music as Psychedelic Blues-Trance Rave and as crazy as that sounds, it is actually an accurate representation! There is such a wide range of interesting sounds and tones used in this latest track, that makes it really hard to pin down, but it is in equal parts mesmerising as it is interesting. The song manages to place you into a trance-like state as you are seduced by the dance-like drums that are accompanied by slide guitars, and heavy bass sounds. You will finish listening to this song feeling like a different person altogether, life will never quite be the same... but for the better!

Elektrik Animals - Cheers

Elektric Animals is an Alternative Rock Band from Denver, and they are back with a killer new track! Here they once again bring a modern, contemporary sound to that previously mentioned alternative rock genre, with some really tasteful riffs on the guitar and powerful drumming throughout. This song kind of sounds like a much more interesting version of Imagine Dragons, with it's theatrical yet catchy sound. The chorus in this song is particularly powerful. Then towards the end of the track you get a drop down singalong section, that builds up for one big last huge chorus, bringing the track to a rousing close.

Ivy Eye - Intoxicating

Disco-Funk duo Ivy Eye are back with an intoxicating track (pardon the pun). The song kicks off with a very Alfie Templeman feel, with it's steady four to the floor drums, funky bass and understated vocals. The verses build and build until you reach the climax of a really dreamy, infectious chorus that really spins around your mind as you listen. The vocal melodies are incredibly well put together and are accompanied by chiming flurry's that add to the disco dreamy feel. Towards the end they literally bring out the kitchen sink in the form of a sax solo that helps to elevate the final chorus to new sonic levels.

There we have the latest roundup of new tracks I have come across and wanted to share recently! Please do check out the tracks and share the love for these unsigned artists featured, and check out the playlists I have featured them on here:
